Green Moong beans are a great source of protein, fibre and Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, zinc, copper and manganese. Foods rich in fibre can aid in weight loss, control blood sugar and lower cholesterol.
Green Moong beans also contain phytoestrogens with skin anti-ageing properties.
Soaking grains and legumes for 6-12 hours is essential for optimal absorption and digestion. After soaking, add water and pressure cook or simmer until cooked.
