Carrot Fingers

This is a quick and easy snack that children will love. This can also be served as a starter with your favourite dips.


  • 5-6 medium sized carrots
  • Pinch of raw khandasari sugar
  • ½ Tsp coriander powder
  • 2 Tbsp sunflower oil
  • Salt to taste


  • Wash, peel and cut carrots into long, thick strips. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients with the chopped carrots. Spread them onto a lined baking tray. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celcius and bake for 20 minutes. Bake for an additional 10 minutes if you want crispy carrots. Serve warm with hummus or a dip of your choice.
